Ok, the Super Bowl is over. Manning won his first ring, blah blah blah. I hate the Mannings. I have ever since Eli Manning and company decided they were so great they did not want to play for San Diego. F the Mannings……but this is also the one day I willingly watch commercials and I have selected the winner.

There were some couple of honorable mentions…CareerBuilder was ok, Bud had the slapping one, and GoDaddy is always good. Overall, however, the winner is obviously Kevin Federline, or KFed or FedEx…whatever you want to call him. The worst commercials I thought were from Chevy that Workmonkey was responsible for making. They kept repeating commercials and wasting airtime but got nothing across. I guess they weren’t bleeding enough money losing $333 per vehicle.(Better than the $1,400 per vehicle for Ford).

I finally did it. After futile attempts to find this clip on the Internet and countless reenactments to a bewildered audience, I have posted the scene that made Jack’s career.

No, this isn’t the “Here’s Johnny” scene from the Shining…or as the Simpsons have called “The Shinning“, per this dialogue:

Grounds Keeper Willie: “This little boy has a gift. He has the Shinning”
Bart: “Don’t you mean” Shining”?
Willie: “Shinning”, Lad. You want to be sued!
Bart: “Right, the Shinning”

Anyways, this is the best Jack scene of all time from Easy Rider. Jack toasts to DH Lawrence, who until now I have not had the pleasure of toasting to.

As a grammatical lesson, the correct Engrish way to say anything sucks is to say it “is suck”.

I have been watching American Idol for some time. Yes, it sucks. And yes, I am a chick. But somehow I still watch it. This season,however, it’s getting pretty bad. I think this might be my last season watching this crap. The Talent sucks, the “bad talent” even sucks. The only highlight is this dude that looks like Golem from Lord of the Rings. All in all, this show is terrible. When’s the next episode again?
