Guinness Surger

When I went to Dublin a couple of weekends ago, I became aware of a device that I had never heard of..the
Guinness Surger.
Basically, you get special cans of Guinness. You refrigerate these cans. When you are ready, you pour it into a pint glass and put it on this ultrasonic contraption that makes it release its nitrogen, thus producing that head that you see at the pub. It sounds like a great idea but apparently it has not been that successful because you have to get those special cans that aren’t available everywhere.

Yes, yes, yes….the natural next question is of course, what happens when you put regular beer on that thing?
If I can find it I will buy one, but I don’t think you can really find them around anymore. Brilliant!
