Merry Xmas

For me this has been an interesting holiday season. I’ve been staying in London while Workmonkey is in town. While we had previously planned great adventures climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or scaling the crevasses of Patagonia, the fact that my work visa is in the hands of the British Home Office means there is no leaving the country. That means we are in the UK for the next month. Having Workmonkey in town means that we’re literally waking up at noon every day and starting at 3pm on a London sightseeing tour. The problem with that, of course, is that the sun goes down at 3pm. The temperature is also at a near freezing level, leaving walking tours a bit less desireable.
All in all, however, we’ve been taking down the pints everyday and to me taking down pints and deathmatching with James Bond on PS2 with an old nemesis is a great way to spend the xmas season.
